You can now easily—and SECURELY—sync your Gmail account so that any file or activity message you send from HoneyBook will come from your account and will appear in your Gmail sent mail folder.
– To integrate your Gmail account, go to the “My Account” tab on your Settings page.
– For the time being, if your client replies to your HoneyBook emails, they will go directly to your Gmail inbox and will not go into HoneyBook. There will also not be a “seen” label for these. We are hard at work integrating these features as well, and within the next couple of weeks this should be all taken care of and you’ll receive your emails in both places.

What makes HoneyBook Gmail integration different from other CRM systems we’ve researched is that we use Google Authentication to make sure your information is protected from the greedy hands of hackers. Other systems ask you to provide your Google credentials (your username and password) to be able to integrate your Gmail account. We never recommend doing that as it can put your sensitive information at risk. Look for more on this in a future blog post!
