The Power of Instagram Stories

Announced in the fall of 2016, Instagram Stories gave users a new way to interact with their followers. Yeah, they kinda copied Snapchat. And, yeah, Snapchat is kinda feeling the pain of Instagram’s new feature—a new article out from Techcrunch, out this week, details how Snapchat Stories viewership is down 15 to 40 percent and posting to the platform has also decreased since Instagram Stories launched on August 2, 2016.

So, what in the world does all of this mean for you? It means NOW is the perfect time to get started with Instagram Stories. The latest stats show that over 150 million of Instagram’s 600 million users are using Stories daily (that’s more than the total number of users Snapchat even has on their platform). Businesses, brands, influencers, and every day users are on Instagram Stories, they’re used to seeing Stories, and engagement on Stories continues to blow regular Instagram engagement out of the water.
