As we enter the holiday season and are reminded of the power of saying thank you, we want to take a moment to reflect on the many things we’re grateful for here at HoneyBook. Perhaps we should begin by being thankful simply for the volume of items that rush to mind, from our incredible, gracious partners to our ability to continue to serve this community of creatives and “Love What We Do” well into the future.
None of our achievements this year, from product updates like collaborative workspaces and integrated calendars to our first ever educational summit, The Hive, would have been possible without you. We’re grateful that you let us into your lives and businesses and for the feedback you’ve shared with us to help us refine our products. With your guidance, we’ve been able to redesign our workflow tools to be more intuitive, add brochures so you can highlight your work, tinker with questionnaires and make you happier. We thank you for the appreciation you show when we add a tool just for you and for your support at our events big and small.
You came to our second San Francisco Hive and brought your friends, giving us the opportunity to donate the proceeds of the event to disadvantaged youth via the Birthday Project. We’re humbled our partners want to share HoneyBook with their community and for your immense contributions to our 1800 percent growth in 2015.
If it weren’t for each and every one of you, we wouldn’t have the unique opportunity to grow, build, collaborate and live out our core values at our offices every day of the week. Our first core value is this: People Come First. To say that we were inspired by this year’s #CommunityoverCompetition movement, and the way it reflected our own internal belief system, would be an understatement. We’re grateful to be in a vertical where people are at the center. Our goal has always been to empower, support and connect creatives. The manner in which you embody this is in your own communities provides us with a model for success both on our platform and across our company.
We feel immense gratitude for another year of getting to go the extra mile (yes, another core value) with a tireless team that has become a family and last but not least, for the keg of iced coffee in the office that makes it all possible.
