What are the HoneyBook Member Awards?
A night built to celebrate the small business owners shaping your city - not just our members, but the whole small business ecosystem around them. We believe building a life on your own terms is one of the most powerful things a person can do, and this is our way of honoring the people doing exactly that.
Who is being honored in Houston?
A HoneyBook member from the Houston area is this year's honoree, chosen for the story behind their business and the impact they've had on their community. But the night is bigger than one person. It's a chance to recognize the wider small business community that makes the city what it is. Stay tuned, we’re announcing our sensational winners very soon.
What actually happens on the night of the party?
All we ask is that you come hungry and stay late. There's an open bar, live cooking stations, music, and a scavenger hunt running through the night because if anyone knows how to throw a party, it's the people in this room. It's a night for small businesses and the city that's shown up for them, built entirely by fellow HoneyBook members. And it all leads to one moment: honoring this year's Member Award winner.
Do I need to be a HoneyBook member to attend?
No. The evening is open to current members and to independent business owners who aren't on HoneyBook yet. Everyone RSVPs through the same page - we'll just tailor a few details to which group you're in.
Is there a cost to attend?
The awards evening itself is free to attend. Some auxiliary sessions during the week may have limited capacity, so we'd recommend RSVPing early to hold your spot.
I'm not on HoneyBook yet - is this still for me?
Yes. If you're an independent business owner in Houston, you're welcome regardless of whether you use HoneyBook. We recognize that community is central to owning a business, and you're part of ours because you're taking a risk. If you're curious how our software works, you'll be able to sign up for a demo session.
Is there anything beyond the awards ceremony for members?
Yes - our support team will be on the ground offering one-on-one support and office hours to provide targeted product support and education.
What's the difference between the awards night and the group sessions?
The awards night is the main event - one evening, one honoree, the whole community together. The group sessions are smaller and more hands-on, built around specific support you tell us you're looking for. You can RSVP to either or both.

What if I can't make the main event but still want support?
You can RSVP to group sessions and office hours on their own, separate from the awards evening. If timing still doesn't work, let us know and we'll point you to what's next.
