Tell us about yourself in one sentence:
I’m a wife to a Marine of 16 years, mother of 3, fearless adventurer & a purveyor of rad photos, fueled by coffee, love and a whole lot of Jesus.

Your favorite local hangout?
I don’t have one! I like it all… I go where the wind blows me. I guess that is just the free spirit in me.

What is your favorite local cuisine?
My favorite local cuisine? Um, FOOD! ALL OF IT! I’m a total foodie and it’s really based off of what I’m in the mood for. So maybe I’m a Moody Foodie?! Is that a thing?! I think I just made it a thing!

What’s your favorite thing about your city?
It’s creatively and diversely quirky! Rich in historical value, Its history begins in the agriculture-rich San Luis Rey Valley, which was first explored by the Spanish Explorer Portola in 1769, followed by the founding of the Mission San Luis Rey de Francia in 1798. Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton is located in Oceanside and was established in 1942. The 1986 movie, Top Gun was partially filmed here. That’s just skimming the surface! Oceanside has tons of mom & pop shops, local artists and of course its glorious beaches.
