5 Tips on How to Create an Impactful About Page as a Freelancer

This is also a great place to include your mission statement and what sets you and your business apart. Be sure to include your name and location in this section as well.

  1. Portfolio & Press

    Whether you’re a photographer, web designer, or blogger, showcasing examples of your best work and recent press is a great way to demonstrate what it is you do best to new clients. This is also a great opportunity to link internally to past projects and collaborations to help boost your SEO.     Include some sort of call to action that is relevant for your business.  This can be a simple contact form for new inquiries or a “subscribe now” call to action to capture new readers and clients.

Your projects should be updated so that they reflect your current work history, links should be checked to ensure they’re working properly and be sure to update your business location should you move.
